Folks, great news, just stick on to Zoom TV on 14th March at 7:30 PM and you can watch Mr. Shivan Bhatia (yeah that his real name, one of my chuddy buddy, though the chuddy grew a bit bigger when we became friends) inspired by the fashion of misspelling there names (K thing worked for the Balaji Group, R is working for them) and now being called Shrivan, has already won the reality show for fashion designers in India called 'Let's Design' and is all set to to Launch there brand in the country by name "SHRIVAN NARRESH".
Here is a breif intro and the list of achievements of the two, which I feel will be of humongous size in the coming years.
SHRIVAN NARRESH graduated from National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi. Their association started as early as 2004 which got the duo several company projects, from designing first ever fabric raincoats for ZAZAME launched by Duck Back in New York to designing football jerseys for 10 national Football clubs of India, to even designing neck ties for students of IIT Roorkee. Their attempts won them the SWAROVSKI Most creative designer of the year 2007 at the graduating ceremony of NIFT & the Debutant designer of the year 2007 at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. Their journey then continued to Italy as they were offered scholarships to complete their masters in Fashion & Textiles & Luxury Marketing from Istituto Europeo di Design Milan and Rome respectively. Sticking to their roots of beachwear they are credited to win some of the most prestigious International and National awards, winners of the Mittlemoda Beachwear Award 2006 in Bali and the World of Wearable Art Awards in Wellington, New Zealand in the bizarre bra category, are full standing proofs to the credibility of these two pioneering designers in the areas of ready to wear and haute couture.. Last year they officially launched their Beachwear label SHRIVAN NARRESH at the Mare di Moda, Cannes 2008 with the first ever 100% stitchfree beachwear line called “Insectoid”. The collection is made using Italian Bonding technique used only for Armani Prive, Hugo Boss, La Perla and Vanity Fair.
Way to go Shivan ... Shrivan ...whatever.
