Bon Vi-vant II - Lord of cricket's cuisine

Its been a dream since long to be here. Tendulkar's in Mumbai is certainly a place to be for the cricket lovers. People who Breath cricket, Laugh cricket, Play cricket, Live cricket should definitely come here to eat cricket as well. The ambiance of Tendulkar's is just too good, and you can feel the cricket in the waves. The interirors are just perfect with even the table bottoms and the salt sprinklers in the shape of Stumps. The restaurant has a very stylish entrance, its bluish and reddish lit up passage.

For a Bon Vi-vant, the taste is just like any other good restaurant in town, but the menu is good, with the dishes named after cricket legends as well. We had buffet and it was at a decent price, with decent taste. The Loo is stylish with Ladies and Lords display on the door. The bar has got a very cool and frenzy look, with grafitti wall having sports legend and events posters, and also has a huge glass wall with the famous line of Bradman and his wife on it.

There are various show pieces belonging to sachin, and a few replica of the trophies he has won. A stump split into two parts and having the messages from all the mates after Sachin reached the record of 34 Test centuries. There are many such things on display, and so the place proves to be a dream land for the die hard Sachin fans like me. The entrance also has the Palm prints of the Lord himself. The menu and the decor is what sachin likes and is in the way he wants it to be.
First floor has a souvenir shop where you can purchase gifts for your loved ones, which were a bit expensive to me. The restaurant is very close to Gateway of India, just above the Cotton Emporium. Don't try to find with google map, it will confuse you. Just reach near Gateway of India and ask someone. Believe me cricket lovers, even if you don't enjoy the food you won't mind being there. It's surely a place to be for fun with friends and family and the pleasure multiplies if folks with you are ardent cricket fans !!!
